Video: Elderly woman found dead in Ermelo home was likely killed, police say

An 85-year-old woman was found dead in her home in Ermelo on Wednesday. The police believe someone killed her and launched an investigation.

The woman’s body was discovered in her home on Heidelaan in the Gelderland town on Wednesday morning. The police did not say who found her.

A large investigation team is working on the case. The police placed a mobile police office on the home’s driveway, from which detectives can do their work.

No arrests have been made. The police asked anyone with information that could help the investigation, including video footage from Tuesday and Wednesday, to come forward.
