Stabbings at Rotterdam & Dordrecht stations leave two badly hurt
Three people were injured in two separate stabbings at a metro station in Rotterdam and a train station in Dordrecht, the Rotterdam police said on X. The police arrested a suspect in one case and are looking for the perpetrator in the other.
The Dordrecht stabbing happened on the Stationsplein at 10:46 p.m. Paramedics rushed the badly injured victim to a nearby hospital. The police arrested a suspect.
The stabbing at the Coolhaven metro station in Rotterdam happened nine minutes later. Two people were injured and taken to a hospital.
The police were looking for the suspect, a dark-skinned man around the age of 20. He was wearing a black coat, blue jeans, and white shoes at the time of the stabbing.
The police are investigating the circumstances around both stabbings and asked witnesses to come forward.
