Dry weather with room for sunshine until Sunday; Rain, higher temps next week
The rest of this week will be dry, with room for the sun to show its face. Friday and Saturday will have an about-equal mix of sunshine and cloud cover. From Sunday, the chance of rain increases significantly, bringing with it higher temperatures, the meteorological institute KNMI expects.
Thursday will be a dry mix of sunshine and clouds, with maximums around 15 degrees and a weak to moderate northeasterly wind. Friday and Saturday will look much the same, though, on Saturday, the wind will turn from the east to the southeast and start bringing some wetter weather into the country.
Sunday will be a transition day. It will be mostly cloudy, with a 40 percent chance of rain and maximums around 16 degrees. “From Monday, it will become milder, but the chance of rain will also increase significantly, later possibly with a lot of wind,” the KNMI said.
The meteorological institute forecasts a 70 percent chance of rain every day in the first half of next week. There will be a bit of room for the sun to break through on Monday and Tuesday, but not so much on Wednesday. Maximums could climb to around 20 degrees.
