Deceased man found near a tree nursery in Lottum; detectives trying to identify victim

A deceased man was found on Monday evening on a plot of land belonging to a tree nursery on Grubbenvorsterweg in Lottum. Officers received a report at 8:20 p.m. that a body had been found.

The police are currently investigating the reason for the man’s passing and the man’s identity. All options are still being considered, and it is unclear whether the man’s death was a result of foul play.

Colleagues from Forensic Investigation and the detective department will now conduct tactical and technical investigations.

They ask for witnesses to contact the police by calling the police number or calling the Report Crime Anonymous line.
