Visitors will be able to meet well-known Twitch streamers in real life. They will show how they work on stage. Furthermore, fans can meet up with others to learn more about new games and get to know the people behind the games. The audience can also dress up as fantasy characters. Manufacturers use the trade fair to present new products, such as special keyboards for gamers.
This is the first time the fair has been held in Rotterdam. The city will also host it in 2025 and 2026. In 2022, TwitchCon was held in the RAI in Amsterdam. The fair attracted almost 15,000 visitors then.

Twitch has around 240 million active users worldwide. They can share live with others how they play games, from Minecraft to FC 24, or follow how others do it. The online platform is the central hub for gamers, becoming increasingly popular in recent years. More than 35 million people visit Twitch every day, and over 7 million streamers go live on the platform every month, according to AD. The platform also broadcasts esports tournaments. Twitch was launched in 2011 and acquired by Amazon three years later for around 1 billion dollars.
