Oranje already through to next EURO round; KNVB tickets already sold out
Albania’s loss against Spain in the EURO 2024 is excellent news for Oranje. The Dutch national team is now certain of a spot in the next round of the championship, the round of sixteen. Tickets are already sold out - the KNVB has sold all its available tickets up to and including a possible European final.
The top two teams of each group in the group stage go through to the knockout phase. As do the four best number threes. The Netherlands currently has four points and is, therefore, guaranteed to be at least one of the best number threes.
The Dutch national team is playing against Austria at 6:00 p.m. this evening. Both teams still have a chance of winning the group, as does France. The fourth country in the group - Poland - is already assured of last place.
Dutch football fans hoping to go watch Oranje’s upcoming matches are out of luck. The KNVB has sold all the tickets it had available up to and including a possible final, ANP reported. If any additional tickets become available, they’ll go to club card holders who have been selected and are on the waiting list.
