
Winds and showers ahead for NL
Strong winds and rain are expected in the Netherlands on Friday afternoon, especially in the southwest of the country which could see gusts up to 100 kilometers per hour, according to Weeronline. Saturday will start out windy and see plenty of showers. Sunday will live up to its name and be sunnier.
The sun will shine regularly on Friday afternoon, but the south and west of the country may see some showers. In Zeeland, the northwesterly wind will increase in strength during the course of the afternoon, with gusts up to 110 kilometers. Maximums will range between 14 and 16 degrees.
Strong winds are also expected this evening and overnight, again especially in Zeeland and along the coast.
Saturday will start out with strong winds in the west and southwest of the country, but these will die down somewhat as the day continues. Heavy showers are expected in the west and the south. The north and east will be dryer, with even some sunshine expected. Maximums will be around 15 or 16 degrees in most places. Limburg will be cooler at 12 to 13 degrees.
Sunday will start with rain in the south and west, but this will disappear to the south and the rest of the day is expected to be sunny and dry. A light to moderate wind will blow from the east to northeast, and maximums will climb to between 14 and 17 degrees.
