Youth care worker suspected of sexually abusing teen girls

A 43-year-old youth worker from Rotterdam is suspected sexually abusing two 15-year-old girls. Both girls were so-called mentor children, who were entrusted to the care of the suspect, AD reported.

As mentor to the girls, the suspect was designated to guide their well-being and development. He worked in The Hague, which is also where the sexual abuse is suspected of taking place between January and April this year.

The man is suspected of french-kissing one victim, and sexually penetrating the other, according to the newspaper. The abuse happened more than once.

According to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), the suspect crossed all lines of decency. He will appear in the court in The Hague this week. The OM did not disclose at which care institution the suspect worked.
