No arrests after two shot in Dordrecht drive-by shooting

Police were still searching for two men involved in a drive-by shooting in Dordrecht, Zuid-Holland on Sunday. The violent incident left a 43-year-old man and 35-year-old woman wounded.

The two were stepping into a car on Van Oldenbarneveltplein just before 9:45 p.m. when two men dressed in black riding on a scooter opened fire on the couple. Both were shot several times.

"The gunmen rode off on a scooter, leaving the victims seriously injured. There was no trace of the perpetrators," police said in a statement.

Authorities were searching for the men and the dark-colored scooter they used to flee the scene. They left the area on Thorbeckeweg, police said.

Witnesses and anyone with knowledge of the incident were asked to call police. Investigators were also looking to recover security camera images from anyone living in the area.
