Body found in Deventer city hall

A person was found dead in the city hall of Deventer on Friday morning. The police are currently investigating whether the person died in a crime or from natural causes.

The police were called to the scene at 8:08 a.m.

So far nothing is known about the identity of the victim. Whether they worked at the city hall, is not clear. Deventer's city hall is open to the public, so the victim may have been a visitor..

The police, including a forensic doctor and technical detectives, are at the scene to investigate, according to De Stentor
