Toddler rushed to hospital after fall from Kerkrade balcony

A toddler was rushed to hospital with unknown injuries after falling from a balcony on Albertuslaan in Kerkrade on Monday night. The child fell around 3 meters, the police said on Twitter.

The severity of the child's injuries is not yet known. The boy was conscious when the emergency services arrived, according to the police.

At this stage the police believe the child's fall was accidental, but they are investigating the incident to make sure nothing else was going on.
