Human remains found in search for missing Soest woman

The police found human remains during a search in Soest on Tuesday in the investigation into the disappearance of 52-year-old Miranda Zitman. Whether the body is that of the missing woman, is not yet known, NU.nl reports.

The woman from Soest was reported missing on January 21st. A 56-year-old man was arrested in Soest on Tuesday in connection with a missing person case. According to the newspaper, this man is Zitman's partner and he was arrested after he went to the police with information about her disappearance.

The police launched a forensic investigation at a home on Lange Brinkweg.
