Dutch PM looking for someone to manage his Twitter account
Government information service Rijksvoorlichtingsdienst is looking for an online communications advisors to write posts for Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Twitter and other social media. The job entails translating government policy into accessible information for the outside world in the form of creative texts, vlogs and videos for social media, AD reports.
Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and other social media, as well as an HBO diploma, preferably in communication. They must be aware of current developments in politics and society, they have to have a high stress tolerance, and must be flexible - the Prime Minister may need to call on their creativity outside office hours.
The new communications advisor will receive a temporary appointment of one year, with the prospect of a permanent contract. The salary is between 3,130 euros and 4,809 euros per month, depending on experience and qualification. Those interested can respond to the vacancy until November 20th.
