Dutch man, 19, killed in jet-ski accident on Malta

A 19-year-old Dutch man was killed in an accident with a jet-ski on Malta on Wednesday afternoon. He was hit by a jet-ski, driven by another 19-year-old Dutch man, in St. George's Bay, RTL Nieuws reports.

Bystanders helped the wounded man to shore and provided first aid. But their efforts were in vain. The young man died at the scene.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death to RTL Nieuws. The man's family was informed, a spokesperson said.
