Boy hurt in Eindhoven stabbing

A boy was stabbed during a large fight between young people in the center of Eindhoven on Tuesday evening. He was found wounded at Eindhoven station a short time after the fight and was taken to hospital, the police said on Twitter.

The victim was rushed to hospital by ambulance, escorted by police cars, according to Omroep Brabant. A trauma helicopter was also deployed, but was unnecessary. At this stage nothing is known about the severity of his injuries. His age was also not revealed.

The police received the first report of a brawl between a group of young people at 10:15 p.m. Investigators want to known what led up to the brawl and the stabbing and call on witnesses to come forward.
