Suspect in Hilversum murder jumped in front of car on Dutch highway
A Rotterdam man arrested last week for suspected involvement in the death of a 22-year-old woman in Hilversum, jumped in front of a car on the A27 three days before the woman's body was found. He was injured. It is not clear whether the woman was already dead at that time, ANP reports.
The body of the young Maastricht woman was found in a villa on Waldecklaan in Hilversum on July 9th. There are indications that she died a few days earlier, according to the news wire. She was killed by violence, the police confirmed.
Firefighters found the victim's body. They entered the house after a report about a hissing sound that seemed to be a gas leak. It was immediately clear that she had been killed in a crime.
The 22-year-old man from Rotterdam is suspected of murder or manslaughter.
