The 18-year-old reported to a police station with his mother on Monday, saying that he knows more about the fire, which the police were still investigating. The young man was arrested. Based on what he told the police, the teenager from Den Bosch was also arrested. The police did not say how the fire started. Both teenagers are suspected of arson. The investigation is still ongoing.

The fire caused an enormous cloud of smoke in the area on Sunday, according to NOS. The art academy is located next to the railway in Den Bosch, which meant that the fire also halted train traffic in the area for several hours on Sunday afternoon.
