Man with knife arrested at Amsterdam police station

A man with a knife threatened police officers in the police station on Van Leijenberghlaan in Amsterdam on Tuesday evening. He was overpowered and arrested, NU.nl reports.

The man walked into the station at around 8:15 p.m. with a knife in his hand. He threatened the officer behind the desk. Other officers came into action and overpowered the man.

The suspect is known to aid agencies, according to the newspaper. He is in custody for investigation
