Man hurt in Rotterdam shooting

A 27-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Rotterdam-West on Saturday night. He was found with multiple bullet wounds in his leg, RTV Rijnmond reports.

The man got into a fight with a group of other men on Essenburgsingel. He was chased to Weizichtstraat by four men, where several shots were fired, according to witnesses. The injured man was eventually found on Beukelsweg.

The victim was conscious. He was taken to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg, a police spokesperson said to the broadcaster.

The police are looking for witnesses.
