Body found in swimming pool, two arrested

A man was found dead in a swimming pool on a farm in Miheeze, Noord-Brabant on Sunday. Another person was found unconscious and in critical condition about 100 meters away. Two people were arrested, the Oost-Brabant police said on Twitter.

Emergency services resuscitated both victims on the farm on Peeldijk. The man found in the pool, a 29-year-old man from Milheeze, died at the scene. The other victim was rushed to hospital by ambulance. The identity of this victim has not yet been revealed.

According to the police, the two victims were visiting the farm with two other people. The two others - a 28-year-old man from Milheeze and a 32-year-old woman from Helmond - were tracked down and arrested.

At this stage the police have no idea what happened on the farm. The two detainees' involvement is being investigated. Investigators are keeping all scenarios open.
