Dutch, Belgian arrested at gunpoint after Etten-Leur shooting

Shots were fired on Wielewaal in Etten-Leur around 11:50 p.m. on Monday. Two suspects, a Dutch man and a Belgian, were later arrested on the A58 near Bergen op Zoom, BN DeStem reports.

No one was injured in the shooting. The suspects are a 20-year-old man from Antwerp and an 18-year-old from Bergen op Zoom.

The police found the suspects on the A58 near Bergen op Zoom. As they were believed to be armed and dangerous, the police arrested them at gunpoint as a precaution. A police dog was also deployed.

A pop gun was found on the suspects. "This is also punishable n the Netherlands", the police said, according to the newspaper.
