Four new arrests in Dordrecht gay bashings

The police arrested another four suspects for involvement in two assaults on gay men in Dordrecht over Easter weekend. Both victims were attacked, separately, shortly after arriving at a meeting spot for a date made on app Grindr.

A 21-year-old man from Dordrecht was arrested over the weekend, and three more men between the ages of 18 and 20 were arrested on Monday, RTL Nieuws reports. The police previously arrested a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy.

One of the victims was beaten up when he arrived at the agreed-upon meeting place on Smitsweg during the early hours of March 31st. The same happened to the second victim on Schenkelsdijk the next morning, though he managed to run away from his attackers before being assaulted. Both men pressed charges.
