Man accidentally shoots himself at Amsterdam gun range

A man was injured at a gun range on Lijnbaansgracht in Amsterdam on Wednesday. He did not properly follow the shooting instructions and accidentally shot himself, a police spokesperson confirmed to NU.nl.

The victim was taken to hospital, where his injuries were treated. How seriously the man is hurt, is not clear.

The police did an investigation at the scene and concluded that this was an accident, not a deliberate shooting.
