KLM power outage happened in data center
A power outage that hit airline KLM at Schiphol Airport on Wednesday, happened in the airline's data center, a KLM spokesperson said to the Telegraaf.
According to the spokesperson, the power outage only lasted 10 minutes. But something went wrong with the back up, and it took the system a long time to restart again. The airline is investigating what happened.
KLM had to cancel 68 flights as a result of the power outage. The airline's customer service centers were also unreachable for a time.
