'Death list' spread in Utrecht region links one man to 17 violent incidents
The police are looking for the person who wrote a 'death list' spread in and around Utrecht last week. The list links one Dutch-Moroccan man from Nieuwegein to 17 assassinations and attempted assassinations, RTL Nieuws reports based on information from website Boevennieuws.nl.
The man talked about on the list is Redouan T., the leader of a criminal gang, according to the broadcaster. The document contains information about the assassinations themselves and their background. The attacks described happened in the Netherlands, Spain and Morocco.
The police are taking the list seriously, but also take into account that it may have been spread to sow confusion. "It contains cores of truth at least", Wim de Bruin of the Public Prosecution Service said to the Telegraaf.
