Man seriously injured in Rotterdam shooting; three arrested

A 24-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in the Rotterdam neighborhood of Kralingen on Sunday afternoon. He was rushed to the hospital in "worrying condition", the police said in a statement. Three men were arrested.

The shooting happened at a home on Herman Bavinckstraat just before 4:00 p.m. The suspects were arrested in and around the home. They are three Rotterdam men, aged 45, 26 and 24 years. The police are investigating their role in the shooting.

The motive for the shooting is not yet clear. More people may have been involved and the police call on witnesses to come forward.
