Two bodies found in home in Groningen town

The bodies of two people were found in a home in the sparsely populated farming town of Vlagtwedde on Friday. The police responded to the home in the Groningen town after receiving a report about a disturbed man, NOS reports.

The responding officer called in a SWAT team when no one opened the home's door. Inside two bodies were found.

The identity of the victims, how they died and when are all still under investigation. The police did say that the victims were both adults, according to NOS. Sources told Dagblad van het Noorden that one of the victims is the disturbed man the police were called about. The police could not confirm this.

According to NOS, no one was reported missing in Vlagtwedde.
