189 kilos of cocaine found in Amsterdam home; man arrested

The police found 189 kilograms of cocaine in a home in Amsterdam on Tuesday. The 42-year-old man was arrested and is in custody for further investigation, the police announced in a statement.

In addition to the cocaine, the police also found 19 thousand euros in cash and 1.5 kilograms of amphetamine in the man's home.

The police were already looking for the suspect in an investigation into possession and export of hard drugs. Another suspect was arrested in this case in August.

The 42-year-old man will be arraigned on Friday.
