Dutch woman murdered in Mexico, partner suspected

Dutch woman Olga Kluivers was stabbed to death in Mexico on Tuesday. Her Mexican boyfriend is suspected of the crime. He is on the run, NOS reports.

Family members found the 60-year-old woman from Eibergen dead in her home. She owned a bar on the Pacific, in the town of Barra de Vavidad, according to Omroep Gelderland.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Kluivers' family in the Netherlands about her death.

The Dutch woman's body was already cremated. In Mexico it is common practice to bury or cremate a body shortly after death, according to NOS.
