Dutch man arrested in India for drug dealing

A 33-year-old Dutch man was arrested in India for selling synthetic drugs from the Netherlands in the city of Hyderabad, in southern India, NOS reports.

Indian media reports that the Dutch man is an IT specialist from Rotterdam. According to the broadcaster, he is suspected of being involved in a courier service that provides drugs to a website used by locals to order drugs. He flew from the Netherlands to India four times, often staying in Hyderabad.

"He is an important catch for us", a spokesperson for the Indian police said to to local newspaper The Hindu. The newspaper identifies the Dutch man as Mike K. He was arrested on Wednesday and will be arraigned soon.

Four Indian persons were also arrested in this case The local police confiscated eight kilos of opium.
