Gunman sought in Amsterdam shooting; one hurt

One man was rushed to the hospital after being injured in a shooting on Geerdinkhof in Amsterdam on Tuesday. The police are looking for a heavy set white man wearing grey shorts and a blue shirt.

The man's description was spread through alert system Burgernet. He is wanted in connection with the shooting, according to the Burgernet message. 

The victim's condition is unknown. The police closed down the area for investigation.
