Police search home of man caught filming entrance of Eindhoven stadium during concert

The police searched the home of an Amsterdam man caught filming the entrance of the PSV stadium in Eindhoven during a Guus Meeuwis concert on Friday. The police are still being tight-lipped about the investigation, only saying that the 29-year-old man is still in custody and is being questioned.

"We are naturally investigating his intentions. That's why we also investigated his home", the police said in a statement on Monday night.

The Amsterdam man caught police officers' attention on Friday night by standing outside the PSV stadium and filming its entrance. Many people were inside the stadium at the time, attending a Guus Meeuwis concert. As the man is on a list of "maybe radicalized" persons, the police intervened and arrested him.

Many police officers in bulletproof vests were seen around the stadium during the rest of the concert, according to RTL Nieuws. The police even asked Meeuwis to extend his performance by a few numbers, to give the police more time to make sure all is in order before guests started streaming out of the stadium.

The concert finished, and guests left the stadium without incident.

"The police are getting many questions about the ongoing police investigation", the police said in a statement. "This investigation requires extreme care, and for this reason we can not release further details at this time. As soon as more is known, this information will obviously be released."
