Man found dead in Oirschot canal

The body of a man was found in the Wilhelmina canal in Oirschot on Tuesday morning. So far the police can not say whether the man was killed in a crime, the Oost-Brabant police said on Twitter.

The victim was found around 7:00 a.m. at the height of Parallelweg in Oirschot, according to Omroep Brabant.

The police are working on identifying the man. A forensic team is at the scene investigating the cause of the man's death.
