Attackers mug armed robber during Rotterdam pizzeria heist
A man who robbed a pizzeria in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde on Friday night, was himself robbed by two other thieves while still in the pizzeria. The police are looking for tips about both robberies and all three robbers, AD reports.
The police initially believed that the three robbers were working together, but that now seems not to be the case.
Around 11:15 p.m. on Friday a man entered the pizzeria on Kerstendijk and demanded that people start handing over money. While he was doing this, two other men entered the business. They threatened everyone inside, including the first robber, before taking off with an amount of money. The first robber left a few minutes later, with some precious items taken from the pizzeria staff.
The police are investigating both robberies and are looking for the three perpetrators. All three men were dressed in dark colored training suits. One was remarkably tall.
