Max Verstappen's Aston Martin sold for €239,500

Cito Motors in Eindhoven sold Formula 1 star Max Verstappen's former Aston Martin V12 Vantage S for 239,500 euros on Monday. The car was listed for sale for less than a day, AD reports.

According to an employee of Cito Motors, it was quite a tense sale. "There were many rivals in the field." the employee said to the newspaper.

The 572 horsepower car has only 4,128 kilometers on the odometer. Verstappen drove the car for 6 months as figurehead for Aston Martin. As the car was driven and approved by the F1 star, it now bears a Verstappen approved label under the hood.

That Cito Motors was proud to have the car in their showroom could be seen in the ad, which read: "POWER BEAUTY and SOUL in optimal form and driven b the world's most talked about Formula driver MAX VERSTAPPEN!!! CITO MOTORS offers the unique opportunity to purchase the former Aston Martin V12 Vantage S of our Dutch pride!!!"
