Man injured in Amsterdam stabbing; woman arrested

A 55-year-old man was injured in a stabbing on Jan Evertsenstraat in Amsterdam during the early hours of Sunday morning. His 45-year-old girlfriend was arrested, the Telegraaf reports.

Officers responded to a report of a fight on Jan Evertsenstraat around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. At the scene a man covered in blood approached them. He told them that he was stabbed. Emergency services were called in and the man was rushed to the hospital.

The 45-year-old girlfriend was arrested.She was also injured, but was treated by a doctor from her cell.

The police found 'n large, blood-covered knife on the street.
