Five arrested in violent home invasion kidnapping in Limburg

The police arrested five people in Beek, Limburg on Sunday afternoon. They kidnapped a baby in a violent home invasion in Heerlen earlier that day, ANP reports. The three men and two women forced their way into a home on Diamntstraat in Heerlen. They forced an iron fence open and broke the front door. The baby's mother was injured in the process. The five suspects tookk the baby and left in three cars. They were later tracked down and arrested in Beek. According to the police, one of the suspects is the baby's father. They believe the motive behind the kidnapping is in the relational sphere. The baby is unharmed and back at home.
