Body found in Almelo home; one arrested

A dead body was found in a home on De Ruyterstraat in Almelo on Sunday night. The police are investigating the cause of death. One man was arrested. The suspect may be able to give more information on what happened in the home, a spokesperson for the police said to newspaper Tubantia. So far the police will not comment on the identity of the victim or the cause of death. Neighbors believe the victim is a young woman, they said to Tubantia. They heard her fight with her boyfriend earlier in the evening. Around 9:00 p.m. they heard a loud bang, which they now believe was a gunshot. After that the police could be seen at the house.
