Economic Sec. involved in traffic accident in Seoul

State Secretary Martijn van Dam was involved in a traffic accident in Seoul, South Korea. His car was hit by a van. The State Secretary escaped with only a shock, but the car sustained considerable damage, NOS reports. Van Dam is on a trade mission to South Korea with Prime Minister Mark Rutte and representatives of 60 companies. The aim is to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties with the Asian country. Football coach Guus Hiddink also forms part of the program. He is very popular in South Korea since he led their team to fourth place in the 2002 World Cup. After the accident Van Dam drove his damaged car to a meeting with the South Korean Minister of Agriculture.
