2016 an "great herring year", according to annual ranking

Jury members for AD's annual Herring Test had a fantastic time tasting fish this year. According to the Dutch newspaper, 2016 is a "great herring year" with even the 26th place in the ranking scoring a 9. The best herring of the year goes to the various branches of Vishandel Gebroeders Simonis in Scheveningen and The Hague, the jury decided. The fishmongers also got 1st place last year, and second two years before that. The jury gave Gebroeders Simonis a whopping 10 out of 10, seeing no room for improvement. AD will publish the full ranking on Saturday.
