Child killed in head-on collision with stolen car

A child was killed in a car accident involving a stolen car in Zelhem, Gelderland on Friday morning. A car thief collided head on with another car carrying a man, woman and two children, according to the police on Twitter. The car thief was arrested. According to the police, he stole the car earlier that morning and was speeding on the wrong side of the road at the time of the accident. The suspect was slightly injured in the accident. According to the Telegraaf, the child that was killed was 7-years-old. Omoroep Gelderland reports that the child was 5-years-old. The other three members of the family were taken to the hospital for treatment.
