Young asylum seekers arrested in Etten-Leur brawl

The Etten-Leur police arrested 11 underage boys on Sunday for brawling in an asylum shelter. The boys, aged 15 to 17 years and mostly from Syria and Eritrea, are suspected of public violence, ANP reports. The reason for the brawl is unclear. Two boys were slightly injured and taken to a hospital for treatment before going to the police station. The fight happened in a detached house used as a shelter for unaccompanied minors. Much of the house's content was also severely damaged. To present counselors tried to calm the boys, but to no avail. It took police intervention to break up the fight.
