Brand new Joint Strike Fighter vandalized at Leeuwarden air show

The demonstration model of the Netherlands new F-35 fighter jet was vandalized with paint at the air show at Leeuwarden Air Base on Friday. A 54-year-old woman was arrested. A spokesperson for the Koninklijke Marechaussee, a policing force that works as a branch of the Dutch military, confirmed the incident and arrest to the Telegraaf. According to the officer, the woman stated that she is against the display of weapons. The woman is in custody. An airbase employee removed the paint from the F-35, also known as Joint Strike Fighters or JSF.
