Most Dutch university grads land jobs within three months
The average time between graduating in the Netherlands and finding your first job is three months. Forty percent of graduates even find a job immediately, according to the latest labor market report from the association of universities VSNU, Telegraaf reports.
The figures show that 93 percent of graduates that found a job within 18 months after graduation. 69 percent of that group found a job on a scientific level, 21 percent found work at a university level and two found work at a high school level.
A total of 89 percent of all Dutch graduates have jobs, compared to the 86 percent average of the 21 EU countries that are members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
