Explosion injures five in Gelderland town

Five people were injured in an explosion at a company on Menisstraat in the Gelderland town of Dinxperlo on Monday morning. Emergency services are at the scene, the Aalten police report on Twitter. The extent of the injuries are unknown, though the police report that three people were taken to the hospital. The other two were treated at the scene. So far there is no information about what caused the explosion. According to the police, the building was declared safe. The Inspectorate for Social Affairs and Employment, formerly the labor inspectorate, is investigating what happened.
