Eight Dutch names in leaked ISIS data

Eight Dutch names are among the 22 thousand "employee files" of people fighting for terrorist organization ISIS that leaked in March. They are from Arnhem, Hilversum, Zoetermeer and Leiden, among others, BN De Stem reports. The 22 thousand files, containing information ranging from date of birth to what kind of fighter you want to be, was given to British Sky News on a USB stick by a fled jihadist in March. Since then intelligence services from across the world have been investigating them. They contained information on 1,700 jihadists, many of the documents were copies. The degree of information varies per person. Some files only contain basic information, wile others contain details about blood type and what countries the person ever visited. One of the Dutch on the list is 27 year old Basheer T. His jihadi name is Abu Harrith al Holandi. He is from Hilversum and traveled to Syria via Turkey. He was allowed to join ISIS based on the recommendation of Dutch-Italian jihaidst Thijs Belmonte. The youngest Dutch person on the list was born in 1995. Another turned 21 a few months ago - he used to be a taxi driver in Zoetermeer. Only one Dutch registered to be a suicide bomber, the rest opted to be "fighters".
