According to the police, the stabbing happened around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday on De Savornin Lohmanlaan. The suspect, a 59-year-old man from The Hague, got into the taxi and stabbed the drier numerous times with a sharp object.
The victim eventually managed to escape his attacker in his taxi. The suspect fled into a nearby sport park. There officers fired shots while arresting the man.
