Hieronymus Bosch exhibition sells out all 380,000 tickets

Bad news for those still hoping to get tickets for the Hieronymus Bosch exhibition in the Noordbrabants Museum. All 380 thousand available tickets were sold and the exhibition is completely sold out. "We never expected it to be such a success", museum directer Charles de Mooij said to broadcaster NOS. "Initially we worked on 250 thousand visitors." Tickets sold so quickly that the museum decided to make more tickets available and extend the museum's opening hours. This year is the 500th anniversary of the Dutch painter's death. The exhibition Hieronymus Bosch - visions of a genius is in the Noordbrabants Museum until May 8th.
