Dead body found at home of man assaulted by Badr Hari

A dead body was found in a house in Bilthoven registered to business man Koen Everink, the man assaulted by kickboxer Badr Hari. The house is located on Hoflaan in Bilthoven, RTV Utrecht reports. The identity of the body has not been revealed. The police are investigating. At this stage it is not clear whether the person died of natural causes or was murdered. The time of death is also unknown. According to newspaper AD, an air ambulance was dispatched to the house at 8:50 a.m. It was later cancelled. The police announced that a body was found at around 9:15 a.m. "We received a report that there was something at the house in Bilthoven", a police spokesperson said to NU. "When officers entered the house a deceased person was found. There were suspicious circumstances, so we immediately launched an investigation. Local residents told AD that Everink still lives in the house. His business is also registered to the address. "His Porsche is still at the door", a neighbor said. The police towed the car away for technical investigation. Koen Everink made news in 2012 when kickboxer Badr Hari assaulted him at Sensation White in Amsterdam. Last year the court sentence Hari to 24 months in prison, 10 of which is a conditional probation period, for this and other assaults. Following the sentencing, Everink responded that he was unnerved and disappointed by the short sentence.
