Don’t let sunshine fool you: cold days ahead
While many places in the Netherlands have sunshine on Tuesday, that does not mean the winter is coming to an end. The rest of the week will be cold, with overnight freezes and a small chance of rain or wet snow, according to Weerplaza.
Afternoon temperatures for Tuesday are expected to be around 2 degrees in the east and southeast and up to 4 or 5 degrees in the west. The mercury will drop quickly during the night, and the inland parts of the country can expect frost and mist.
Wednesday will also have some sunshine, with some cloud cover in the west. Maximum temperatures will range between 1 and 4 degrees. Thursday will be quite cloudy, with a small chance of ran or sleet.
Rain is also expected for the weekend, especially on Saturday.
